Hi there! Welcome!! I am Laney Livingston, a Chattanooga native!
I am an independent hairstylist and owner of Hair Behind The Vows. I have been in the hair industry for over 5+ years.
I specialize in wedding/event hair and natural beaded extensions as of Jan. 2023. I will also be offering house calls for existing clientele for 2023.
I love learning all things new and upcoming in my career. I spent 1.5 years in an apprenticeship learning technical and precision cutting and coloring, as well as understanding the head and face shapes to tailor haircuts/color for everyone of my clients.(2018-2019) I am Certified in JZStyles Extensions(2021). I am also certified in Barberside Santitation(2020-2021). I strive to consistently continue my education in all aspects of the hair industry to ensure my clients will be receiving the absolute best and my 110%! Fun Facts about me:
* I was a former Miss Chattanooga USA and Miss Tennessee (PAP). I have the sweetest little family that I just absolutely adore! I am a mom of two precious children. I have a 10-year old Yorkie named Sassy. My nickname is Peggy-P(positive). I started in this industry doing event hair and makeup ended up going to cosmetology school to further my education in what I love doing best.
Chattanooga and Tennessee has my heart! I love my state/town/community. I will always stand proud to call this place my hometown. I love to help where ever help is needed in my community.
